Modern Girl Invitations was started by a frustrated bride unable to find the modern design she was after for her wedding. So – she created her own! They offer quality, affordable wedding invitations and matching wedding stationery.

This site is perfect for you if you want a modern wedding invitation at an affordable price, and / or you’d like a full range of coordinating items for your wedding invitation designs. If you want to be able to customize the color (but not the design) of your invite, this site is great for you too!

This site is not for you if you don’t like digital printing, or you are looking for DIY or bespoke design options.

Site Layout	The site caters exclusively for wedding invitation in a modern, fresh style. All 50+ designs on the site are unique to Modern Girl Invitations, so you won’t find them anywhere else.The designs can be viewed by color or style, either using drop down filters or left had side navigation. There are also a range of matching items for the designs (save the date, response cards etc) that can be viewed seperately. Lots of information about how their ordering process works, shipping, quality guarantee, packaging option and custom orders (for matching items) and a great FAQ are also located on the site.
Design	With only 50 designs, the breadth of the range is limited, however the quality of these modern designs is clearly apparent. Whether yourinterpretation of “modern” is abstract, or vintage in feel, there are some fresh designs here to inspire you. All the designs are printed using high quality professional digital printing on Finch Fine 100 lbs. 14pt. heavy white cardstock which has a smooth matte texture. Invitations cannot be custom designed, however you can have any design in any color from their palette (at no extra charge), change fonts (for $15) and custom order matching items if they are not already in the range (eg thankyou cards, wedding directions etc)
Additional Services	Return address can be printed on envelopes for $45 per set. Also provide both online preview and electronic pdf proof (for no charge) and a quality guarantee.
Samples	Are available for $1 in most cases. This includes a pack of invitation, envelope, response card, direction and reception card, save the date and thankyou card, plus envelopes. Quite a sample package! The samples are delivered in one color (standard) only, but with a color chart so you can see all the colors available.
Ships To	Continental US – Free.Alaska, Hawaii and Canada incur a $15 surcharge. International shipping is available by quote.
Process	When you select a design, you see all the details for the design. You select your color and quantities of items required.You then add your wording, and you see (immediately) how this will look on your invitation using the online preview function. Once you are happy with the invitation, you can then add return addresses and personalize wording for matching items. For response cards there are multiple variations with some options including space to customize for entree selection. Once you are happy with your order, you proceed to the shopping cart. All special instructions you might like to add for any customizations can be added anywhere throughout the process. Once your order is placed, you receive a confirmation email and your e-proof within 1 business day. Once approved you should have your order shipped within 4-5 business days. Rush shipping is available for a fee.
Price	All designs have the same price for invitations ($174 for 100 invitations, or $1.74 ea).
What I Loved	The unique designs. It is refreshing to know that you will not see these designs anywhere else.I love that you can have additional matching items coordinated in your chosen design, so you can have your design carry through from ‘save the date’ to ‘thank you’. The price is very affordable, and the quality of the process, providing both online preview and electronic proof before printing is sure to calm any nerves about the finished product.
What I Didn’t	It is a small range which means that you are limited to a particular type of printing and paper process and designs. While there is some breadth in the ‘modern’ interpretation, there is no scope for custom designing your own invitation. Navigation and filtering options are simple, and sometimes clunky.
