The fresh design people at Minted offer samples across their entire design collection, varying in price, depending on the design selected.  They can be pricey (up to $25), but this can be credited to your order (a very nice touch!).

Samples : Invitation Consultants

Samples provided by Invitation Consultants include a copy of the invitation only.  You can request samples for any design in their collection and the cost (up to $5) will be credited against any purchase you might make with them (handy!).

Urbanity Studios do not provide samples of specific designs.  Instead they provide either a generic or wedding invitation specific sample packs which provides you with a range of designs and items so that you can easily assess the quality of the paper and printing processes they use.

Samples : Magnet Street Weddings

Magnet Street Weddings do not offer samples of a selected design.  Their approach is that the sample needs to give you a feel for the quality of the printing and the paper they use, rather than a specific design.  In their sample set, they will send you a complete catalog and samples of up to three items.
